Höganäs Keramik Sweden – ceramic bowl
This is a vintage ceramic dish from the Swedish manufacturer Höganäs Keramik, one of the most iconic names in Scandinavian ceramics.
An elongated, two-compartment plate, with each section shaped like a leaf and featuring a gently wavy, organic rim. Color: deep green glaze with darker, slightly marbled nuances, finished with a dark brown/green edge.
Perfect for serving snacks, nuts, olives, or sauces, and also works beautifully as a decorative piece.
Höganäs Keramik is a true icon of Swedish ceramics. The company was founded in 1909 in the town of Höganäs as Andersson & Johanssons Krukfabrik. In the 1920s it evolved into Höganäs AB and shifted toward stoneware production, which became its signature.
Its most recognizable pieces—with deep green glaze and organic “leaf” forms—were produced mainly during the 1950s–70s, when designers such as Carl-Harry Stålhane and John Andersson were active at the factory.
