Antique French Empire-Style Chairs | 19th-Century Style

Antique French Empire-Style Chairs | 19th-Century Style

An elegant pair of antique French chairs with distinctive wooden frames, curved backrests and decorative castors on the front legs.

The chairs' design displays features of the French Empire (Empire) and Restoration periods, characteristic of the first half of the 19th century. The reddish-brown wood finish with its striking grain gives the chairs a distinctive character, while the padded seats are upholstered in beige fabric featuring pink, burgundy and yellow stripes.

Natural signs of age and use remain, highlighting the furniture's authentic vintage charm.

These chairs will beautifully complement both classic interiors and eclectic, contemporary homes.
