Antique French Louis XVI-style chairs with velvet upholstery

An elegant set of four antique chairs brought from France. The chairs feature elements of French Louis XVI (Louis XVI) style and neoclassicism. They stand out with their straight, geometric backs, finely fluted, tapered wooden legs, and decorative floral motifs at the corners of the frames.

The wooden frames have a soft cream finish with a natural patina, while the seats and backs are upholstered in an elegant grey-beige velvet-textured fabric. Decorative bronze-toned metal studs complement the upholstery.

Condition: the chairs have been cleaned, and the joints of their wooden frames have been reglued. They have not been fully restored — visible signs of age and use have been preserved, including areas of worn paint and minor cosmetic imperfections. These details give the chairs an authentic vintage character and highlight their historic charm.
